Miriam and Richard Lowe
New Zealand; England
Richard and Miriam Lowe met in YWAM in 1991, and married soon after in 1993; they have two boys - Jake and Ben. Richard is the YWAM-Carlisle team leader, who together with Mirriam, pioneered the base and began training in 2002.
Richard was born in Carlisle, and has also enjoyed living and ministering
in nearly 40 different Nations. His passion is to see young people realize
their fullest potential and released into the calling that God has for
their lives.
Within YWAM Richard serves on the National English Leadership Team and
is also the National Training Director in charge of overseeing the DTS's
in England and Wales. Richard also runs seminars on the personality and
relationship tool DISC. He has enjoyed further training in the areas of
debt counselling, and Mediation skills. Serving as a trustee of several
charitable organisations, he also entertains many speaking engagements
in this country and abroad as part of his schedule.
Miriam is a 'Kiwi' (from New Zealand) and has also been with YWAM England since 1991. Miriam is a brilliant administrator and serves in a multitude of ways behind the scenes to make YWAM Carlisle run smoothly, whilst engaging in a host of other activities: - study, working, sunday school, after school clubs and running Myers-Briggs seminars amongst other things.
