With a Mentoring Focus
YWAM Carlisle offers presently offers two basic level courses from the University of the Nations.
The Discipleship Training School is like the gateway into Youth With A Mission; everyone in YWAM started with a DTS!
The Basic Leadership School runs alongside the DTS, training you primarily to lead a DTS, though the leadership skills and qualities acquired will be applicable to any position of leadership.
Many different YWAM schools have chosen to add a specific focus to their school or ministry. At YWAM Carlisle, we believe God has called us to have mentoring focused schools. Because of this, we will only accept a certain number of students for each school, so apply soon!
There are many advantages of having a smaller school. The leaders have more time to spend associating with each individual, deeper relationships are formed, there is more time available for input from the speakers, and there is more opportunity to discover and use your gifts. As well as receiving all of the normal DTS teaching, you will be able to benefit from a program of personal development to empower understanding of both yourself and others.
