Youth With A Mission in Carlisle is still in a pioneering phase, but moving forward. We are always looking to empower and encourage new people to come and be part of the vision, both locally and internationally. We are moving toward building a team whith all different personalities and giftings; a strong team needs both visionaries and team players, administration and networking. We recognize that God has equipped everyone for his purposes in different ways, and some of them He even called to Carlisle! Perhaps God has called you to come and both serve the base's vision, and be empowered to pursue the one God has given you.
If you are interested in a staff position, you must have first completed a Discipleship Training School. Once you have been introduced to YWAM's vision and values, and have an experience of practical missions work during outreach, you will be ready for either a second level school, or perhaps God is calling you to pioneer a ministry in Carlisle. One of YWAM's values is to first do and then teach, so pioneering will depend on your experience and the vision God has given you.

There are so many opportunities from the School Of Evangelism (SOE), to counseling and psychology training, schools of design, or of worship, or frontier missions.... the list goes on...
Pioneering and Fulltime Staff
There are so many possibilities! Come and dream with us about the purposes God has for Carlisle and the Nations - and then DO IT! We want to see amazing things happen; come and join us! We always have a need for DTS staff, which would mean doing a Basic Leadership School(BLS) - check it out! learning how to lead a DTS can also be an awsome way to discover what your giftings are while being discipled and mentored; of course there are also amazing rewards that come with investing your life in others, and seeing them released into God's purposes.
We also have vision to see more ministries and other schools pioneered in Carlisle. Is God calling you here? Whether your gifting is working with youth, or adults, christians or muslims, or recovering addicts; There are churches and community centres in Carlisle that we already have some relationship with, but do not have the staff, or giftings to discover the fullness of what God has in store. There is a place for you!
