Basic Leadership School

"There are two ways you can live after death: the first is in heaven with Jesus, and the second is in the lives of the people you have impacted."

The Basic Leadership School runs alongside the Discipleship Training School, primarily training you to lead a DTS, though the leadership skills and qualities acquired will be applicable to any position of leadership.

As a BLS student, you will arrive a week before the DTS' start date for orientation to the area and the wider team. You will be there to serve and facilitate the DTS students over the course of the school; you will be a small group leader, helping the students apply the truth they have heard to their own lives. You will be involved in leading worship, intercession and outreach, discovering and developing the student's giftings. You will be mentored yourself through this process, receiving prayer, guidance and encouragement for the future.

The course serves to build confidence and character, preparing young Christians in the leadership skills that are so essential in the wider church of today. If you are humble-hearted and hungry to learn, and somebody who wants to tap into your leadership potential in a safe environment with a tried and tested package, then this could be where God is calling you to release you into what is to come...
